Pretty much at my wits with this fuel pressure
i fixed one thing now its another
i replaced my old stock f/r with a blox f/r + gauge, i didnt increase my f-pressure tell it dropped one day, then after it was raised next day i was running rich--how is it that it went from being normal to rich!!, so i put it back to normal witch is 32-with f/r hose on, 44 with hose off,
i been writing down times of the day where it drops,
Lastnight around 9:00pm - fuel pressure was 32PSI when engine rev'ed it goes to about 45PSI
This morning 4:45 - fuel pressure was 35PSI when engine rev'ed it goes to about 46PSI or so 'tad rich
On my brake at work 7:10am : fuel pressure was 32PSI etc
On my lunch 9:00 fuel pressure 29PSI , note it was 80 degrees out side as the day got hotter the fuel pressure dropped and i was using the A/C in neutral
My last brake at work with a/c on and 80 degrees out side it was 25PSI when rev'd it would jump to 35ish 'tad lean....
i noticed before i turned car on i checked pressure and it had pressure it wasnt at 0. it was nearly 21PSI with car off..for a couple hours
car drives fine, its not running rich no more i drove rich for 4 days worst experiance . gas went fast af.
I want to put a replacement stock F/r but not tell i figure out why my fuel pressure is dropping?
what should i look in to? is this normal

Fuel pressure regulator or other associated parts could be temperature sensitive. It could operate properly when cold but fail when it warms up.

You're using a Blox part. They're barely a step above the no-name parts you get off eBay. Put the OEM FPR back on. Is there any particular reason you felt the need to go with an aftermarket part? Something about your car you haven't told us?

Re: Pretty much at my wits with this fuel pressure
Im going back to the stock f/r, + replacing fuel filter....and some injector cleaner....
the reason i switched to the blox f/r , my idle was horriable i thought my f/r was going out on me. so when i switched over i also chipped my ecu with a b20b map, i was using a 1.8 LS ecu previously.
it helped alot my idle is now solid,
but now that i can actually see my fuel pressure . i noticed its not solid. it drops and runs lean when it wants like when i use my a/c and car is under alot of load

Re: Pretty much at my wits with this fuel pressure
i had idle problems, if thats what you meant by "galore" my idle problem was solved when i got a chipped p28 ecu. there for it no longer idles like ****.
i fixed my fuel pressure problem the FPR was broken...couldnt be tightened so there for it was loosing pressure
