Press lock button it unlocks doors?
So the previous owner installed power doors to a ek hatch 1996 Dx. He sold it to me as a shell and i started to work on it. Fastforward, i bought an alarm and the guy wired it up for me and it didnt even work with the doors because he said the doors wasnt meant for the car but i saw them work when it was just a shell. I called up the previous owner he re wired so that the power doors now work but my alarm is reversed... when i press the lock button it unlocks the car. When i press the unlock button it locks the car. There a way i can fix this myself? or do i need to take it to car toys?

I know that.
I posted that about the 2 wires so the OP would be aware that there may be 2 wires, not just 3.
Most of the time when adding keyless to a car, "most" people will use aftermarket actuators.
Op, It really is as simple as poping the door pannel, finding the actuator wires and switch them, and test. Then put everything back togher.

Re: Press lock button it unlocks doors?
OP see if it is stock or aftermarket stuff..
switching the wires on the door switches won't do anything since hitting the button on the remote doesn't involve the door switches. it'd all be localized around the aftermarket alarm control unit.. at which the lock/unlock wires are switched. re-wire it here, once, and both doors will be a-ok

Unless your able to find the wires going to the alarm brain and you can switch them there. However I reccomend doing it in the doors if possible.
You don't want to go shaking any wires loose that aren't connected correctly.

So on the first image above follow the blue and white wire to the power door lock control unit and switch them? that will fix both doors right?
will this up the door lock switch like if i press down it will unlock it instead?

Re: Press lock button it unlocks doors?
To clarify, are you saying that the power key locks work perfectly fine from the switch and door, but not from the keyless remote, where the lock and unlock buttons work in reverse?

Re: Press lock button it unlocks doors?
Yessir you got it correct.
long story short had power doors working and etc. Guy installs alarm and somehow didnt know had power doors and etc and the small fuse box for my doors didnt get power. Got car back rewired the small fuse box so it got power and tried alarm remote and it was reversed but the switched in the car worked fine.
make sense?

Re: Press lock button it unlocks doors?
to further clarify.. there is an aftermarket alarm controlling the factory door locks?
is this because they removed the factory radio which is the reciever portion of the factory keyless system or what??
