Preserving headlights with clear coat?
You would likely have better results with a protective film such as Lamin-X.

I've wondered the same thing. Since I've sanded down my yellow nasty *** headlights, I was wondering if you could spray a coat of clear to keep them shiney and nice for a longer time.
