powerwindow conversion question
k i got 2000 civic si doors and i wanna take everthing from that to put on my 97 hacth. i heard since my car is obd2a and 2000 is ob2b that the harness will not macth. what floor and door harness will i need to complete this conversion

the obd has nothing to do with your interior wiring. use a 99 or 2000 floor harness and youre good to go. you see my how to yet?

yeah the only trouble comes if you try to use the 96-98 door harnesses with a 99-00 floor harness. this is becase on the 96-98 models the power lock controller is inside the door and on the 99-00 the box is under the dash. If you were to mix the 2 then there would be either 2 connectors or no connectors for the power lock box. doesnt work. as long as the door harnesses and floor harness are from the same range (96-98 or 99-00) then it will work just fine. if youre not wanting to use power locks then you can mix and match however you want.
