I've got a 96 EX 2dr and I've hot wired both motors and they work. I recently ordered a new drivers side switch and tried it out tonight... nothing. Where should I look next. The passenger side will roll down but not up from its own switch but the DS switch does nothing to either window. What could the problem be? Any help would be great. -Wes

relays and fuses? Were they ok? window realy most likely..

Well I checked the fuses but I'm not sure about the relay. The window would work sometimes and sometimes not. I thought that when a relay went bad it just went bad but of I know I could be wrong. The DS switch doesn't work at all now and the PS switch only works when you press it down. Wouldn't a bad relay cause the whole system not to work? Thanks for the help. -Wes

make sure to check the connections on the piece that plugs into the back of the switches and at the fuse box. trace the wires and check for connections before u waste money on any parts

Thanks for the tip. I'm just not that great with electronics so it might be a little confusing. I do work at a parts store though so I get a great discount. I just hope I find the problem. This kind of crap only happens to me!!!!! AAHHH!!
