Power windows DIED! Possible to manually lower? '99 EM1
In my 99 Si my power window motor on the driverside blew out. Anyone know if its possible to take off the door panel and manually crank the window down for the time being while Im waiting for the new motor?
Any feedback appreciated...

not sure if it will just lower.. but i know you can unbolt the window from the motor and it will slide down the rails into the door.. just wont be able to put the window back up till u get the new motor.. as in it wont stay up cause it will be unbolted..

Yeah...you'll probably want to leave it up until you can swap the motor out. Are you sure the motor blew? Maybe it a fuse? A car that new should not have "blown" a window motor.
