Power Window and Door Convert ,,,,Any Wire Details???? please help

Default Power Window and Door Convert ,,,,Any Wire Details???? please help

i want to convert my Ex power door and power window into my civic hatch EG
but problem is..the harness for the EX have like 12 wires and the eg have only 6...in this case
if i swap the indash harness into the EG OR REWIRE THEM.WHICH IS BETTER????
please give me some details...thank you

so if i'm getting this right your swaping a 92-95 ex power windows setup with a eg manual windows. I'm not guru on 5th gen civics but to me it seems like you might as well switch the harness and run some power wires, if the 2dr and 3dr is the same.

someone told me..if i want to swap my harness.i might have to swap the whole car harnesss.is that correct..such as...motor harness..shell harness and everything...or i can just swap the indash harness???

you can do just the in-dash harness. still a lot of work though.

yea that one i know..i gotta remove everything..but i woudn't mind..do that..but the thing is..i found out from someone i dont know it's truth or not..he stated if u swap the indash harness ....you also gotta change the chase harness....so that's why i want to find out first.

technically you don't have to run any harness and run all custom wiring. That wouldn't be pratical, so I'd say run the door harnesses then to supply them with power. run the power wires to the battery or another wire like the cig lighter(makes the doors only work when the key is turned) and just make sure you fuse it down with a 20amp fuse. everything you need is sold at the local auto store, it's cheaper online but by a few bucks if you wanna wait.

this is for a 96-00 which is what i'm about to do, but it also might help you out. or at least give you an idea of what's going on.

this might help.but i'm not sure the wire might be in diffent color's.
so that might be the problem..
