power steering hose repair?
Im trying to keep my power steering and my ac on my turbo'd lsvtec. So far ive accomplished keeping the ac (even though im spendidng almost as much on fixing the ac as I did on the turbo kit)and the PS......but the problem is the PS hose has a cut in it. Ive heard that you can buy some sort of hose clamp fix thingy but I dont have a clue where to get it or how much it will cost or if it even really works. Ive tried buying a new hose , 2 times actually, but each time I get one,... its the wrong one. Im not sure which pump is on my car,....its either the one from my stock motor (92 si) or from a 96 Teg. Does anyone know about this flabbergastingly astonishing, cosmic, mystical hose repair kit??

Re: power steering hose repair? (solareclipseauto)
well, one way i might try to fix it IF and only IF you can't get the hose, is find a metal piece of tubing the same size as the inside of the hose... cut the hose at the split and put the metal in and put clamps on each side of the hose...
