Default power problem =/

whats up, i normally dont have a problem fixing my or any car but for some reason this one just dosent want to cooperate... ok so here it is..... i turn the key and NO power what so ever, no headlights, no brake lights, no interior no nothing... so ok i figure its a fuse.... negative i pulled everyone of them out and then even went back with a volt meter to make sure they were ok.. which they are... and i thought it was funny because the car was working fine this morning.. and now theres nothing so... if all the fuses are good what else could it be?.. P.S the battery has alot of juice left also... any input would help, im just really frustrated and dont want to mess with it lol

jumping what?... theres nothing to jump if theres no power being circulated through the car at all... i even then went on to put my battery in a friends car and it started it right up.... so it has nothing to do with the battery just the current to the rest of the car

Did you check all the relays in the fuse/relay box in the engine compartment???

Look for any corrosion on your connections.

I just fixed a Nissan Rodeo and the connection in the back of the alternator corroded so there was no connection.

No power at all? Lights, horn, radio, etc. dont work? Try your connections, all your grounds.

did you try push starting it?

ok... maybe i should have mentioned theres no motor in the car... i was actaulyl going to swap the car today... but i think the suggestion about the relays in the fuse box may do the trick... i really cant see it being anything else and i havent checked them yet (ive never had to).. but who knows with my luck... hopefully it will work cause i havnet had this car running yet its been motor less for about a month and i just finsihed building my motor...

Try checking the corrosion around the battery cables, alternator, etc. Also, check all the grounds, check all basic stuff first.

ok yes you don't have proper ground and im guessing there got to be that you have nothing plug it to the "motor harness" that somehow must close the circuit in order for everything else to work but thats just me

ummm nah... the interior and headlight harness is seperate from the motor harness you dont need a motor or harness in order for your interior and or headlights/tailights to operate...

well if everythings ok like you say, Im gonna have to say that theres a short in the connections. Did you do any special wiring or what not? Bcuz I dont see how somethin coulda gone bad when it was working fine that morning you tested it.

yea im thinking the same thing.. a buddy of mine is gunna come take a look at it, cause hes good with the electrical part of this **** lol... if that dosent work im gunna bring the car to a electrical shop to see if theres a short anywhere in the car...... as far as any special wiring there isnt any.. there was an alarm at one point but i removed it about 2 months ago when i first got the car... havent had a problem since.. .and only thing i did was plug the brake sensor in at the top of the pedal.. but thats nothing...
