Default Powder coating some IT-R wheels. Where?

Hey guys,

This may be in the wrong forum, but for some reason in the Wheels forum, I'm not allowed to start a thread in there. Every other place I can. Hopefully this thread can be moved to the Wheels forum.

Anyway, where is a good place in San Diego, or maybe even OC/LA county, where I can get my IT-R wheels powder coated? The original white paint got messed from brake fluid.

I've seen on TV where they powder coated some wheels of a chopper bike and baked it afterwards. I want the same type of job done to my wheels. TIA.

Because Wheel's forum is for Sponsor's Market. I doubt you are a Sponsor.

What is your colour choice?

Ahhh... I see, I see.

But yeah, I'm actually thinking now about having them painted that Mugen bronze color. I just don't know of any places to go to have wheels painted. I don't know of paint & body shops do that kind of stuff. I want to have it done right.

I can coat them for you, but it might be cheaper for you to find someone local, since theyd need to be shipped to new jersey.

In San Diego, a lot of people use Olympic coating in San Marcos.

Let me know the name of those places when you find out.

Is Olympic coating a shop in San Marcos?

The bronze colour sounds like a good idea.

Yeah, I've always loved Mugen's bronze color version.
