Post your security of your already stolen car.
I was just wondering what kind of security you had when your car got stolen. Your location and car model would be nice. Just wondering on whats effective and whats not

DEI Hornet alarm. Two way, Single siren. Club, fuel pump kill switch in the most common "honda-tech" location. WITH OPEN HEADERS=]. I was knocked out.
They took my freshly installed ebay turbo. was going to get it tuned on my next paycheck. Stripped my car, seats, fenders, hood, bumper, interior, doors. but left my personal things, gifts, photos=]. Looking at it now I'm happy they were at least considerate enough to leave those there undamaged=].

DEI Viper
DEI Piezo Interior Sirens (2 of them)
DEI Backup Battery
Autolock (on clutch pedal)
Removed Fuel Relay
Relocated Hood Latch Cable
Encased Hood Latch in Sheet Metal
Read about it here - it was just stolen on 12/23
No security system or layers will ever stop a thief if they really want it they'll get it

You were knocked out? As in, they punched you and took your car? Where was the fuel kill located, just so I know not to put mine there...

ah I see, this is 100% the most discouraging thing to think about when owning a Honda, and a modded one at that.

I'm just going to leave some spent shell casings around and leave the car looking stock, maybe slap an NRA Forever sticker on the back window.

Re: Post your security of your already stolen car.
true dat!!! Honda Meets are so very dangerous for your cars safety!! its cool to check out, but most of those peeps have a second car to drive as a daily driver. Never take your car out to a meet if its tricked out !!

Re: Post your security of your already stolen car.
Very true.
It's sad we can't have nice things for fear of some low life piece of **** will steal them.
There are probably some pretty creative security measures we could take, but then again, a trailer and a winch will defeat them all. Maybe we could all start digging big holes in our driveways to add a big freaking metal ring to lock our cars to. Let's see someone try to steal a car locked down with a thick steel cable.

Re: Post your security of your already stolen car.
I wonder if anyone's tried a different approach yet, something more along the lines of leaving the doors unlocked, keys in the ignition, and some signs in the windows like "steal me" "this is not a bait car" and "this car is not monitored by video surveillance"
