Default Possible smog problems?

I have a 93 civic coupe that I got last week. The motor has been swapped and a vtec from I think a 96 currently resides inside of it now. This isnt the original motor of course and now im worried because I was talking to someone and they said it wont pass smog because its not the stock motor. It also has an AEM cold air, DC header and AEM fuel rail, but theyre all 50 state street legal, just in case that would help any. Thanks in advance.

It should pass if all the smog equipment is hooked up since it is newer year than the chassis. As long as it does not have any cels you should be ok.

Oh well my CEL comes on sometimes but after I turn off my car it goes off, and stays off when I start it back up so idk about that one, or why it does it.

Cat. is on it's way out I think. I would pull the code for cel to see why it's coming on, could be smog related.
