Possible 2000 Si purchase.
Looking to purchase a Si I found on Craigslist, they want $3500 for it. What I know is that it's missing AC, throwing a code for IACV. and has some cosmetic damage to the front and back bumper. $3500 is about what KBB says, is there anything I can check or look for on these cars? Also, with the IACV code, it should drive fine right and just idle will be messed up?
Thanks in advance.

The lady who owns the car took down the Ad since she said she was getting tons of Spam, but I grabbed the pics to send to a friend before she did. here they are:
Edit: I forgot to mention, 113000 miles.
I'm also looking at this GSR as well:

they both look beat up pass on both and wait for something better. if I had to choose the gsr at least as cosmetically flawed and you will have at least some torque.

My brother in law is usually pretty good at fixing cosmetic issues. Is that the only reason you'd pass on the Civic? I have to admit I have a sentimental value towards the EM1's. I'm not that familiar with the B18's in the GSR thouh and his has 150K, those should go well over 200K if maintained well too right? I don't think I'd pay more than $3500 for the GSR.

the engine bay on the civic looks like a mess plus the cosmetic issues make me not like it mind you the gsr isn't a whole lot better. yes they're both b-series engine's so if they were taken car of they'll keep on going. don't pay fore then 3K for that gsr. I just don't want to see you get ripped off on a pos that requires endless repairs.
