It seems reasonable probable that the plugs would be the same. I don't know why they would change their whole plug design just for mirrors,, JDM to USDM.

I imagine they are different, because there's an extra relay and function involved. Right now all they do is go up, down, left, right. With a folding, they do all that, and fold.

Hmm, good point! Would the JDM have an automatic or motorized folding feature? Then the plugs would definitely have different prongs.

the plugs are the same.

usdm mirrors just don't have the 2 wires for the folding option.

but you can still just plug-and-play, and still get power mirrors.

Soooo,,, thinking through on this one,,, if you picked up the JDM mirrors, would the motorized bit be in the mirror and IF you were to locate that JDM plug? ,,couldn't you then theoretically have the folding feature?

hell, you could easily just replug the existing harness and slip two wires in.

the jdm harness isn't 100% nessisary, although it makes it a helluvalot easier.

I dunno, I don't use the power-fold option, so I never cared enough to source a set of jdm plugs. I think the relay I recieved with my mirrors was shorted out

I usually fold my mirrors in and out when washing the car to get all debris out and one time,, I think it was the drivers mirror,, the thing snapped on me! I broke it? So I had to replace the mirror.

,, and I looked for some way to get into that bitch too. No way. Anyone ever broke into a mirror to save bits? I wanted those mirror plates but, nooo way to undo unless I broke the sh~it out of it. I just bought a new one.
