Default PLug Wires And More..

Before anyone flames.. as started in my previous posts.. my explorer WONT complete a damn search

So heres the deal, I have a d15z1 vtec-e.. the dizzy cap was cracked so I bought a new one.. looked the new one over, no cracks. So I installed it, and the motor ran like a champ for like.. 15 miles. Then all of a sudden it has a REALLLLLLY bad low end studder, like anything under 3k rpms.. Then today I was driving along.. *studder studder missfire missfire putt putt* so I downshifted to get the RPMS up, and the studder never went away. Now it studders the entire way, from idle to rev limiter. It NEVER did this before I changed the dizzy cap.. I checked the plug wires to make sure I had them in the correct order, and I did.

A new rotor button will be in tuesday.. tomorrow I'm going to buy 4 new plugs, and heres the "real question". My friend had a f22 or h22 sohc vtec.. cant remember which.. he just bought new plug wires, then shortly after it blew up. I was wondering if the plug wires would work on my d15z1?

I was also wondering if a d16z6 o2 sensor would work on my d15z1?

Thanks Alot In Advance

no plugs can't make your car blow, unless he has those, iridium, platinum tips. it's either one of them or both. but what happens with these tips are, when you gap them the tip cracks, eventually breaking off into the combustion chamber. maybe that's what happened to him.

but back to your problem. no plugs wouldn't blow your motor. also when you change the cap, always change the rotor. so, go ahead and change your rotor, wires and plugs (use the ngk v power, can't go wrong). also change your fuel filter while your at it.

When I said that shortly after he blew.. his motor blew.. not mine.. I was wondering If I could use his pretty much brand new spark plug wires.. his motor was a f22 or h22 cant remember.. but will they work on my d15z1?
