Default plug wire causing bad mpg?

i did a tune up on my d series about 3 months ago, got wires, cap, rotor, and plugs. but this past week i have noticed that i have been getting bad milage, checked my rotor and cap, plugs and they were fine. the wires look fine too but i thought i would check the ohms on them and this is what i got: cylinder # 4- 4.44K, #3- 4.59K, #2- 5.51K, #1- 11.74K, i am guessing #1 bad, but how after only 3 months?
