Default PLEASE HELP!!!! searched

i have a stock swap d15b7 into my 94 eg hatch and the timing is now lined up perfect but when i try to manually turn the crank it turns for a bit then its like it hits something and wont go any further, any ideas?

the car is not in gear and yes its on the ground

Double check timing sounds like it could be a open valve and its hitting the pistion

could it be a bent valve by any chance?

Can you see if they are all comming up all the way? Or look to see what pistions at the top down the spark plug hole and then look at the set of valves to see if there is one stuck open or something

make sure the up mark on the cam pulley is up and that the two small lines line up with the head, make sure that the big white line on the crank pulley is lined up with the viser in the lower timing belt cover

yeah timing is done properly and its still doing this

but in all reality what does that have to do with the crank not turning all 360 degrees?

did it both with the plugs in and out of the engine why, what would the difference be?
