Please help me with figuring on what my Civic is worth........
I have a 92 Honda Civic HB w/ 97 Integra GSR Swap...
Here are the mods.
97 Integra GSR Swap
Megan Racing 4-1 Stainless Header
Megan Racing 2.5" Header Back Exhaust w/ N1 Muffler
CP Intake
Brand new Paint (Audi S4 Red)
Carbon Fiber Taillights
JDM 1 Piece Headlights
Eibach Lowering Springs
Tokico Blue Struts
All the Performance parts have less than 100, yes 100 miles on them. It is my second car and I just found out that I have a new child on the way.
Car is clean as hell, Im looking to get at least $5,000 for it....
I tried posting the car for sale in the Classifieds but it wont let me for some reason.....
thanks,
Melissa

What kind of paintjob is it? Maaco? Full color change at a bigger, reputable shop?
Main question is; is the title clear? I don't recall reading anything about your title. If it is, you might as well shoot for $6,000 because yeah that's how much it would be worth.

Nothing more than KBB value for your car. Upgrades don't increase the value. Now go find a poor chump that's desperate for a Honda and he'll give you whatever you ask.

the car was originally black. The car was professionally painted. Definitely not a Maaco job.
Door jambs, trunk everything is red...
Title is free and clear...
I will post pics tomorrow. It is too dar currently to take photos...

also on a note, the car ran a 13.7 @103 recently. If anyone is interested in the car I am asking $4,000 cash for it... Runs perfectly and I need the money asap. I am located in the Providence, RI area if anyone wants to take a look at the car.
thanks,
Melissa

I will take some photos later on this afternoon because the brightness throws off the true color of the car. Here is a picture of the actual color. The sunlight throws my camera off..

this one ran me about $1,000. The car was originally black and had many many dents.. Door jambs, trunk, etc were also painted. Came out nice.
Here is another one of my cars done the same color. This one was taken inside after being painted. This is more what the Civic Color is. They were both painted the same color....

really nice, but why do people invest so much in their civic? isn't it just an economical car
how does this deal sound- 1995 honda civic lx 4dr sedan automatic, 89k miles, $2000
there are alot of dents... and she said sometimes she has trouble with the gears
from what I see out there it seems really good

This is an interesting new attitude on H-T. Dumb, too. Obviously a car with a fresh engine in it is going to fetch more than bone stock. I'm not saying you'll ever recover the full value of the swap (you won't), but a well-turned out hybrid will ABSOLUTELY have more value than a stock car.
I wouldn't add any value for bolt-ons, but for a swap, yes.

A lot of people still wouldn't pay more then stock. They'd rather "build it themselves". If I could do it over again I would of saved $5000 or more, and already have a car better than mine. Not saying I didn't enjoy the slow progress of building my own, just seems smarter to take advantage of someone elses money pit.
