i have a 99 civic ex and i recently did a ls swap. the swap was successful and my car was running well for about a week. then sadly my driver side motor mount broke on me and my car just turned off. i try to start it because i was in the middle of a intersection but it wouldnt start. i fixed my motor mount and put my motor back in and i get the same problem. my car would not start. it sounds like its trying to start then the sound just slowly fades. one of the plug that comes out next to my crank sensor is cracked also but i just plugged it in and taped it anyways. WHAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM?

Start with the obvious... like that plug that you "just taped anyways". Get a new one. Or if your not sure thats even the problem borrow one from a friends motor and try it.

is it throwing any cel's? did a ground possibly come loose? is the fuel pump priming when the key is in the on position?

You taped a cracked sensor and wonder why your car won't start.

Hmm, start with that. IF not, check to see if you're getting fuel. Check the distributor, the ignition coil. Start with the little things that it takes to start a car. Plugs,wires. Good luck.

yeah i check for all the ground wires and made sure they are on tight. i am sure that im geting fuel also. im running a b16 ecu so yeah i have a cel too. and the plug that was cracked was replaced with a new one and still it would not successfully start. i think my car wont start because when my mount broke, my motor tilted a little bit and probaly damage somthing inside the crank. i got people telling me it might be the crank sensor. but i dont know how to check or fix it?
