Pics of my car at trackday - Wakefield Park 2nd Nov (Hi Bandwidth!)
Hi all!
It was a great day! weather was abit hot which probably explains everyone's lap times but if it matters... I did 1:16:25 (timed from Stop watch) with my EG. I was overtaking a few Type-R's, S15, WRX's and alot of other cars!
Pit Straight....
In the garage waiting... My 15" Enkies (Matt Black on RE540's)
My bucket seats with 4 point harness...
Dashboard...
Under the bonnet...
Me & my car

Hey Mugen,
Looks like you had a blast. Love the black wheels and sparco seat.
Are you still able to possibly find out the spring rates for my WS N1 coilovers?
You said you had a spec book a few weeks ago, Just curious.
Thanks
Dan

Re: Pics of my car at trackday - Wakefield Park 2nd Nov (BAR-F1)
Thanks all!
I was in doubt of the car's performance, now i think i shall go ahead as planned with the car. Which is a big *** list!
I'm in the process of looking for a JDM ITR front cut. Due to our exchange rate, it's quite expensive!
Other mods i have planned are to change all the bushings on the car, stiffer front/rear sway bars, bigger brakes front/rear, stiffer springs, more strut bars where ever they can be bolted
The books been lent to a friend, I'll find out what your spring rates are and I'll let you know when i get it back.
Haven driven both cars... ITR & EG on the same race track... I find it with the EG, the back doesn't slide out as often, with the ITR, it would slide but feels controllable. With the EG, it either follows or it snaps. EG's is pretty chuckable too. I can feel the chassis is not rigid enough either. Feel alot of flex here and there. There's alot of work to be done but all i can say is that if it's got the B18C5 under the bonnet, it will sure give a ITR a run for it's money!
Has anyone ever changed there EG bushings? isit much better?

Car needs a new paint job which will be the last thing I'll do to the car. I want to re-spray it Super Marine Blue (98 Honda Prelude VTiR Colour). With Spoon bonnet, lip and rear wing.

Nice car man Its funny, your Battery and fuse box are on the other side where our Brake MC is. And just for the record, that trottle cable is rediculous. Is that a ZC or LS?

Same colour, same deck? Yeh, i'll need to find that outter plastic bit for the deck, but i really couldn't give!
Engine is pretty much stock. It's a D16A8 (euro version of a ZC)
Here are the specs...
Valve Train: DOHC 16V
Engine Bore/Stroke: 75.0x90.0mm
Engine Type: D16A8
Displacement (cc): 1590
Horsepower @ rpm: 130@ 6800
Torque (lb.-ft. @ rpm): 106 @ 5700
Redline (Fuel Cutoff RPM/MPH): 7200/ 112
Compression Ratio: 9.1:1
Only thing done to the engine is...
Intake
Lighten flywheel
Heavy duty clutch
4-2-1 Hot Bits headers
Car sound cat
2 1/4" pipe cat back
I don't tend to spend any money on this block, going straight for a VTEC block!

Wow, looks like a nice ride. What suspension mods do you have as of now? I love the RE540 tires, wish they sold those here!!!

Can't you guys get the tyres over there?? that sucks! In oz.. theres only 1 dealer per state. So you must be able to source it out!
I'm currently running on Bilstiens with Apexi WS springs. Going to change them to the GT series, stiffer spring rate!

Re: Pics of my car at trackday - Wakefield Park 2nd Nov (slow_civic)
I'm running ART front/rear pads with Motul 600 brake fluids and the help of the Cusco master brake cylinder stopper. I did ok for about 4-5 laps, but started to fade slightly. Due to the diametre the tyres I'm running, puts more load onto the brakes.
I'm planning to change the front rotor to 280mm and run 4 pot AP racing calipers and on the rear, just use the ITR's one.
Damian: cool! how much a kit like that cost for the EG? and what does it come with?
