Pic Request: Eg hatch with H&R sport springs
I recently installed my H&R sport springs and have been driving it around for awhile and the drop looks kinda funny. First on the front driver side wheel there is a little under 2 finger gap between the tire and fender. The the rear wheels have about 3 finger gap(with a litte more on the passenger side). On the front passenger side their is a 3 finger gap. Anyways was wondering if anyone had some pics of an eg hatch with this drop or if anyone has a similar experience with these springs. Btw I have 15 inch slipstreams with 195/50 tires. And if it matters I have an si with KYB AGX shocks.

No pic...but probably normal!!
Most civic owners have complaints about uneven drop height after install some lowering springs,..only few thing you can do is drive around and make some 360 degree turns in a lot to see if the srpring will ever settle down. Another thing you should do, if the spring does not settled or unven still occured is to cut the springs so the height are even all around!!
I got adjustable suspension set-up so I just measured up each side and lower it or rised it to level all corner!!
Good-luck!!

Hopefully someone will have a pic so I can compare it with my drop. But I was also wondering about ground control coilovers. Just wondering how they would ride and handle as compared to springs?

what do you mean by that...
GC are adjustable so you can easily dial in the height you desired, for example if all your wheels (corners) are uneven.. then you go the which ever corner and low it or raise it to correct the uneven height/ or fender gapping!!

What I mean is how far can u lower the vehicle? For example H&R springs are supposed to be 1.8 in front and 1.6 in back. Are GC's fully adujustable too as low as I want to go? Also how do they handle? But back on topic Im still looking for pics of eg's on the sport springs.

Here we go

This is on a canadian CX (d15b2) w/o PS no A/C.
** I HAVE VERY BIG FINGERS. No joke I do. Normal people have 1 more finger gap. **

Thanks for the pics. Is it even left to right? Thats wierd to cause with mine the front sits lower. Probably cause it the si model and has differant engines and power stuff and is heavier, right? Did the car tend to even out the more you drove it? Did they sag at all? Thanks agian for the pics

Which H&R do you have??? I Have H&R race on my 96 Coupe and I dont have any gaps, my wheels actually tuck in a little.... Only problem I have is that the driver's side is a little bit lower than the other side....

Both side were even.
As for other questions, I swapped not too long after I installed em. W/ a B serie in it now, the drop is even @ 4 corners.
I'm going for another set up soon anyway, since i'll be racing after the winter
