Default PGM-FI RELAY (any posibility of it causing no spark?)

like the tittle says no spark, is it posible for the pgm-fi relay to prevent a spark...or is it solely fuel managment,(all dist internals show correct resistance. and voltage, but the dam thing wont spark even right off the dist.

When you put the key to the RUN position and all your dash lights come on, does your check engine light come on for a second and then turn off? Does it turn on at all? Check the ground on the engine by the thermostat housing. If its not a good ground you wont get spark.

Like u said up top is ur pgm-fi relay bad?? If it is replace it and just see if it makes a difference.... if you dont have a relay laying around see if another relay is the smae as that one... say a headlight relay etc.... then switch them out to see if it helps.

the main relay fix... http://www.markl.f9.co.uk/howt...y.htm

for the record, yes it can stop spark. it tells the ECU that the ignition is on.
