People with the Autodynamics front lip for the 92-95 Civic, how did you mount them?
My lips just arrived, my car did not have the factory lip on it so i don't know how to mount the lips i have now. If you have some pics or a how to that would be great. I'm sure i can figure it out, but sence this web board is here i might as well use it to ask. Also I bought dupilcolor bumper paint but no primer, It is absolutly necessary to prime the lips before painting them. How should i prep them? When i test fitted the front lip it seemed to fit fairly well. I'm not sure if i'll use the rear lip yet, i'll have to wait for my new exhaust. It doen't seem to be compatible with the apex n1. If you can answer and of my questions post away.

No one in 21 veiws?
Anyway, here is what i'm dealing with. I figured i would have to do something to this lip to make it fit when i bought it. The left side of the lip fits fine but the right side has a pretty big gap (shown in the pics below). Granted nothing is bolted down in the pic but i do not believe that will fix the gap. I messed with it and the only thing i can come up with is to somehow shape it to fit correctly. Anyone know if this is possible with a heat gun or hair dryer?

maybe when its black the gap won't be as apparent. i can't even tell from the front pic. but i'm sure its easier to see in person. good luck, keep posting with your progess.

Nah it will be fixed before it goes on the car, i'm not going to put it on unless it is. I'm heating it up now but i don't think a hair dryer will get it hot enough to mold it.

Yes I have the rear lip, but it won't work with my apex n1. When i get my new exhaust i'm going to see how it fits. From there i'll decide if i'm going to use it.

supp bro, just saw the post and Ill help you out since I owned one be4.
Ok, the lip has 2 holes in the center area at the bottom. Just use any bolt and nut (I used 10mm)to screw them to your bumper.
The sides dont have holes, all I did was used 2screws in each side it holds very well
HTH if you have any more q's just IM me
This is a pic. of it on my old hatchie

Yeah, i've seen your pics. Looks really nice. Did you have any fitment problems?
The lips i got came with mounting hardware and the lips don't have any holes in them. Did you prime your lip?
Here is the mounting hardware...

I bought some 3M molding tape today and hope to be able to fit it, paint it, and install it soon. I'll post pics when and if i ever get it done. I know some people didn't prime theirs, but would it be better to go a head and do it?

Re: People with the Autodynamics front lip for the 92-95 Civic, how did you mount them? ('99EJ8)
After a Few hours of fitting i went from this
To this
That's without the 3m tape. Once that's on it shold take care of the gap. I want to paint it and be done with it but it's too humid outside. Guess it will have to wait. I'm just glad it's goinig to fit, one less thing i have to worry with. Thanks eveyone for your help.
