Default People with 17inch rims and 205/40 tires... does it rub on the fenders?

What do you guys do to solve this?
Also, what offset does your wheels have.

a 205/40 will fit and is the usual size folks with Civics use on 17" wheels. The only downside is that there really aren't many good tires in that size.

Mike-who uses the factory 15" alloys and has a huge selection of tires to choose from.

...all depends on offset. I liek 45 offset

I run 17" wheels with nitto 555 tires on them on my 96' civic coupe with no problems, i also have apexi lowering sprngs in down 1.8" they fit tight but don't rub .. not sure the tire sizes i'll post them later when i dig my wheels out of the basement ... damn winter!

i plan on getting Yokohama Parada Asymetricals 205 40 ZR17

anyone have any experiance with this tire?

i never heard of anybody runnin a 50 series tires on a 17" sounds ugly.....whatever floats your boat
