Parts with different codes on new motor
Well i picked up a full b16a longblock for $600 with sensors, im, tb, s2 cam gears, excellent condition. I'm confused if they mixed and matched parts, or maybe i can't ideantify the motor:
Block: Stamped "B16A2", and has green vin honda tag(If i'm correct isn't this from japan?)that reads EH2...etc
Crank seal/cap/whatever on transmittion side: Reads "PR4"
Intake Manifold: Reads "P30"
Pistons: Reads "PR3"
Head: Reads "PR3-3"
Any help would be appreciated . And i can't identify the cams. Intake side has 2 inlet wedges or whatever. Exhaust side has none.

Re: Parts with different codes on new motor (JDMCRXDelSol)
If the block is stamped B16a2 then im pretty sure that is out of a 99-00 Civic SI, at least the block. If it were a jdm block it would just say B16a. (Please correct me if im wrong) It sounds to me like they mismatched parts, but I dont think that is a bad thing.

no your right i dunno though. not sure if mismatcing parts is a good idea. then again, hondas are like legos.
