I have a 1992 Honda Civic Lx 1.3 Liter. My idle air control valve went out, therefore i need a new one. i would have posted this in the classifieds, but for some reason ive been "the noob" for over three weeks now, and noobs cant participate. anyways, this is my only vehicle, so if any one can help me find this part,( or maybe a bypass solution ive heard of?!?!??) it would be greatly appreciated and i will be a daily driver again. Thanks in advance to all that help. pm me if needed

Well looking at your avatar it doesnt say "trial user" anymore. So Im guessing you're good to go. In regards to your question... just go to a Honda dealership man. Or even a junkyard might yeild more results than an online forum (unless you enjoy paying shipping fees).

Shipping fee is no matter, and i cant seem to find the part any where around here. ive had a local dealer and a local junkyard as well to search, and the results yielded nothing. they say they cant find it because its a candian engine??? im not sure. i just cant seem to find it anywhere else, and i was reffered to this site with my problem. so, can anyone help? im in a dilemma!!!!!!

Lol. Alot of civics are made in Canada, that is correct (I think the majority of them are). But it shouldn't matter at all. I would say go to a different dealership and ask, b'c they dont know what they are talking about.
