perhaps, i missed the right keywords in the search page, but i didn't find anything related to this... Is there such thing, i hear from my cousin that they DO sell them, but they cost close to like $800 each. Is this true?

i have not seen 'em painted but i have seen them with a different finish to them other than regular carbon fiber, like with a tint of blue or yellow.

$800 for a painted CF hood??!!!

i'd rather pay $400 for a fiber images, etc., and have it painted by a local shop for under $200

i think you're talking about the carbon/kevlar hoods that have died threads in them...those are nice, but i'd rather have raw CF, or painted CF

theres a guy on honda-tech somewhere with a painted cf hood on his ej6, its no biggy to paint it, but why would you ?

i don't know it is just a thought, although i dont mind it on my white 93 eg. Well, once i actually get one, now doing some research. Great now, can someone give me a rough estimate on painting the car, the outside, after i fix the rust and the whole thing. pics are here: http://www.cardomain.com/membe...age=2

you cant really see the rust, but it is on the same spot on the left side and i just want to paint it white again. The engine i will clean with engine brite.
