Paint or Not??
I have a 95 Civic and my side moldings have faded or somebody waxed them and they are a greyish color. I think I'm going to have them painted sometime soon. My question is: should I match the moldings to the body (milano red) or paint them back black? If I do match them, what else should I paint - side skirts, front and rear lip, etc. Or is there something I can apply to moldings besides paint to make them look good again (the rear side molding behind door looks bad)?
Thanks!
Thanks!

here's a try, use some armorall and a sock and rub it in a little... It helped take away someone's shitty wax job on my grill piece

Re: Paint or Not?? (ebonyks)
when i bought my old hatchback it was missing the molding on the drivers door so i went to Honda to buy new molding and i it was kind of expensive for just that one piece and all the clips. But then the guy showed me the "package" price persay, it was actually cheaper to buy all 3 pieces of molding(fender, driver door and rear quarterpanel) and the clips rather than just that one piece. I dont understand it either but it was cheaper! That was straight from the salesman. We compared the two prices.

Re: Paint or Not?? (ebonyks)
I think the package cost around $93 and the one piece was gonna cost $110 w/ clips. Also, this was for an '87 HB and was also about 2 years ago. Im sure that moldings more than what yours would be. Sorry for the vague info.

if you paint them black it wont look the same
if the armor all trick doesnt work, paint it red
for the si's i think it looks better painted, but if i had a red cx with black mirrors and side skirts id leave it black

Re: Paint or Not?? (piscorpio)
Update: I tried the Armor All. It definitely helped, but I'm not sure how long it will last. If I do paint, I'll wait a while b/c I'm putting my money into suspension right now. Thanks for the help!
