P28 w/Mugen chip...Bad economy q's
OK.....i have a 99b16a2 with a mugen chipped p28....after searching alot on the chip i have come to the conclusion this is causing me gas milage and not giving me that much power...i have exhaust and an intake on my ride thats it...SOOOoooo how do i remove the effects of the chip...i do not have another p28 ecu and i dont want to be runnin open loop all the time...i thought there is a way you can do this...like jump J1 on the ecu...how would i do this

cool...thats what i thought just needed a second confirment before i cut it....i doubt im getting potential out of it anyway i only have minor bolt ons and its not worth it for the gas milage....

but if you do put it back to stock... it will be stock p28 specs including rev limiter which is like 7200 or so.... just to let you know
youd be better off trading for a stock p30ecu or selling your ecu and buying stock p30

why not go with a stock euro b16a program or Kouroki or RS Azinawa chips. all will yield stock like mileage with imporoved performance. I used to get about 32-38mpg on my b16a EG with the three above programs.
