P28 vs P06
I have a 94 dx coupe "P06 ecu" and i put a "d15b swap" in it for a lil bit better performance than d15b7. I got the P28 ecu but i need to see an ecu pinout so i kno where to plug in my vtec wires, but the only obd1 ecu pinouts i can find are for p28, p30, and p72.... Can anyone help me out here, i've searched and searched an no luck still... I did try to compare the ecu pinout i found for the P30 off of Hybrid Hondas website but my A, B, an D harnesses have a totally diff setup.. All the pinout wire colors are diff than what hybrid honda said and a bunch are in diff places too...

the obd1 civic plugs are all teh same regardless of trim. Bauley Civic has a write up in his mini me thread, that's what you'll need to do....
OH yeah, like I told you befire, teh P06 & P28 share teh same components (for teh most part) so P28 pinouts are exactly the same as P06.

Re: P28 vs P06 (DJ_SaNdOz)
I kno, i remember u saying that they share the same components and stuff but all i could find was a diagram for a P30, and on that diagram where it says "vtec solenoid" my stock harness has a wire there and that doesnt make sense to me because my car is non vtec and its not prewired for vtec, so that only led me to believe i was looking at the wrong diagram... I was just wondering what pins do the vtec wires go in because the ones that the diagram say there supposed to go in already have wires going into them...

OK, so make sure that you are looking at the ECU the right way, so ensure it's not upside down....A4 is where the VTEC wire will go, and the Pressure switch is D6. You may or may not have a pressure switch on your engine as some JDM motors don't have them. If you don't have a pressure Switch, you can run that wire from teh ECU & ground it on the chassis....
The pic from iServe doesn't seem to be working, it's a .gif image. I got the pic from here:

some of the coupes and hatches are prewired for vtec on the under dash harness thru the fire wall just not the engine harness(i'm not sure why but i know they are), you may want to look into it, thats how my buddies 94 dx hatch is, so all you would have to do is run wires from vtec sol. to the harness on passenger strut tower side.

That was only true for 92's from what I've read on here. My Civic is a 94 and it definately didn't have any pre-wiring for VTEC.
