p28 mugen chipped ecu

I just got a p28 mugen chipped ecu from a b16a2 hatch ob1, i was just wondering if it would work just as fine for a d16z6 sohc vtec ob1?

above the eprom (J1 location) cut the jumper or remove it or simply purchase a SOHC VTEC proggy
