P06 VTEC Conversion?
i have a 5spd P06 ECU. is it possible to convert my 5 spd P06 ECU to a P28 VTEC? If so, it's most likely cheaper than buying a P28 ECU, so where can I get it done? anyone know any links? thanks in advance!

Xenocron has kits for components, some people do the service. For that, you'll have to search. PGMFI.org has instructions how to do so, more of an FYI than DIY though. As for converting, yes it will make it just like a P28, except stock maps will be for a p06. A chip will fix that though.

Yes I have P06, PR4, P05, P75 ECU's converted to P28 all the time. generally costs around $150 and the ECU is socketed and chipped.

awesome, thanks guys. so around $150 huh? i guess $100-$200 for a chipped p28 is still not a bad deal after all.

Generally only costs around $75 to have a P28 chipped unless it is auto and has to be converted which is an additional 10-20 dollars.
