ot: Hybrid Must Haves..
I thought of this while I was sitting on the 405 last week waiting for the tow truck. As much as hybrids tend to break down, throw random codes, etc., there is a short list of "must haves" that every hybrid owner should keep in his car.
I`ll start:
-AAA Card
-Cell Phone
-Small Bag of Tools (just the necessities)
-Flashlight
-Extra Plugs
-Fork
-CEL Codes for you application
Go ahead and add to the list....

An extra 300-500 bux in the bank for "unforseen **** that happens".
Extra patience
a Manual for your car and for the motor currently in it.
I can't think of anything else....you pretty much covered most of it.
Extra insurance for your parts in/on the car. If it ever gets stolen or totalled out you will see what I mean.

Uh oh, what happened?
Btw, "plus" is 100 mile tow radius, right? How do qualify for the plus package?

****, this happened to me last week too. First time to drive the car in 4 1/2 weeks and I had to get towed back home. Too bad I had tools, but it just wasn't fixable. But good writeup vtecvoodoo. And yes the AAA plus is definitel a great investment. Which car broke down. The black hatch you just got running a while ago is sweet!
