OT: Honda-acura.net exposed.
Not sure if this has been posted before, but everyone take a look at this. I pulled this link from another site.
Honda-acura.net was recently hacked and it exposed that Honda-tech is a bunch of scammers. I wanted to give my fellow honda friends a heads up. This is just wrong!!

Enjoy, and don't trust everyone, sorry this isn't about accords. Hopefully honda-tech can stay true.

Bad way to make a joke.
The worst advertising quest ever. I won't ever go back. Looks like HA has team of geniuses on hand.
Someone has never been in a business class I guess. Honda-acura.net isnt' a celebrity, they wont make it on negative advertising, especially when its about taking peoples $

Check out HAN if you want more info.
We;re not scammers, all those threads in the 'mod corner' were fake, every last one, even the forum was made up. The real mod corner was never compromised and never available for public view. All anyone saw was the fake forum.
We never thought it would get this big. IT was just supposed to be a small little thing My how word travels on the net
-HAN Civic Forum Mod.

Good luck guys. I work closely with a bunch of large companies. Expect to lose a bunch of your advertisers.
Possibly a few lawsuits, and no, I am not joking or talking from my ***. Its not a funny thing to make up. It's to far. Its the total wrong way to try to advertise, its a cheap way out, a cheap trick. I have a 4 year degree in business management and a minor in computer science, sorry, didn't learn that banning members, adding salaries or ripping off people was a way to create a positive image for your website.

It sounds like to me that someone hacked the site, stole the php files, posted them on a server, exposted all of the information and THEN honda-acura.net tried to cover it up by calling it a joke.
So shady, so wrong.

it was a 2 month long preplanned event.
The "Mod Corner" forum was previously named "Fake Corner" that only mods had access too. we filled it with fake topics for two monthes, and renamed it and opened it up today. It got bigger than we thought it would but.. yes, it was a big HAN episode of PUNK'D
HAN is down right now because of the overflow of traffic this event generated.

I'm so astounded that it was taken so seriously. It was all a joke, maticulously planned. It was never intended to drive traffic to the site, nor be as widespread as it has.
