There's a reason for that. I actually got my H22 there, but I picked it up. That way I got to pick which one I wanted and didnt have to worry about getting the wrong thing, or shipping or anything. Try hmotorsonline or jdmhondaparts instead. My .02

if you did a search and only found negative comments...then why would you ask??
that's like cutting your arm off and going to the doctor to see what you did.....
osaka as long as that guy mark still works there!

He said the search returned the "OLD" bad stuff. Exactly, OLD. I think he was asking more "has anybody dealt with them RECENTLY"?
Nobody goes around saying "yeah Osaka is great!", nor usually about other importers. Most just dont have the time. But there is no NEW bad news about them.... so maybe they cleaned up their act?
How about you comment on the motor you picked up there...... and you overall experience, rather than just recommending another place?

HAHAHA.........The answer is "unless your going to pick it up, then dont bother!"
Trust me i got a swap indirectly from them through JDMClub........search: "Finally got my motor"
I have heard nothing but good things from HMO and IAS so go with them if you intend on ordering without seeing the engine in person, although it is ALWAYS better to see what you are paying for! Good luck with it though

My friend did a stupid-assed thing by ordering his SR20 DE-T from Osaka and they fucked him over royally.
The motor had been completely submerged - seriously.
The ******** at Osaka haggled with him and would not budge until my friend sent them pics of the horrible standing water in the intake manifold.
Osaka STILL sucks.

I've heard nothing but bad things about Osaka, I remember a while ago, they were doing okay, till they started screwing people over. Import Auto Salvage or Hmotorsonline Save yourself the headaches.

Honestly, I had no problem with them. They were cool with me, gave me a good deal, I got to pick out what I wanted, and so far I've had no problems with the engine. But again, I dealt with them face to face, not over the phone 2,000 miles away. It's always better to deal with someone in person rather than over the phone.

Don't go cheap on this! I paid $3,800 for my 98 GSR swap from IAS and it's worth every penny! I have a post in the archives with plenty of pics of the motor.
There's a reason you can only find negative $hit about osaka motors. Well, there are one of two people who give them good feedback, but still there are numerous complaints. Stay far away from them!!!!
