I have the same problem in my Sol and living in Chicago where it is cold as hell, my heat is needed. Just find something to place in front of half the radiator so it won't cool as much.

I love the full length radiator and will not change it out, hope it helps. I don't think there is much more you can do. Good luck.

Just remember that the 99-00 Si's run a B series engine with a Civic sized radiator without any problems at all so your teg rad IS overkill...go back to the civic one.

I'm sure the civic is lighter by itself as it's only half the size....

Also if the civic radiator will be enough for the larger B18B1 - which I imagine for 0.2L of displacement, it won't be a big deal.

I had a stock DX radiator in my B18b turbo'd car. It cooled fine was never close to 1/2

I just got the Del-sol B16 VTEC Radiator,

it's still the same size, but has dual core. and the stock fan bolts right on with new fitment issues.

works really good. temp never goes up half way,

but for the best deal, I think they had this in the 94-95 EX AUTO with AC.
I can't remember, but when i did my research for a new Rad, I found out that they were the same, and were selling for way cheaper, just cause it wasn't the DELSOL VTEC one..

I picked mine up in mint condition used for 40$ cnd

I bet you could sell that nice big rad for 2x that

If you already know that the teg rad isn't required and it is heavier than the Civic rad with fluids etc, what difference does it make about the capacity difference?....especially if you're going to change it?

well the 4g civics had full length radiators (at lest mine did). Interesting that honda went down in size the next gen. I remember my '90 rs integra, with no accessories on it. The rad fan would never ever come on; i even replaced the fan temp switch thinking it was faulty. It was fine, just overkill on the rad.

I have a d16z6 style dual core rad in my gsr civic now. Never any overheating issues of course. The only problem is i got screwed, because i had ordered the b16 del sol rad. The d16 necks are too small and they leak, and nothing seems to stop it.

Don't waste your money on the fluidine rad for the bling. Unless you want a show car

Just get a civic dual core rad. You can get them from auto civics. I have one in my CX and it runs fine. Mine is aftermarket and it works just fine.

I'm running my stock 96 EX radiator on a b18b, never had any issues with overheating.

I went from a '92 CX radiator for a whole year, then I thought I'd be cool to add a '97 Integra radiator.

Now back to a '95-EX dual core w/boost & w/o any overheating problems....

Current setup: B18B1 on 6.5psi

Climates where I live range from 0-100F + 100% humidity during summer...

i got my Koyo teg radiator and this thing keeps the engine running perfectly. in the summer i ran no higher than 170 degree's until blew the headgasket. and now in winter i put in a higher stat for 185. the temp gauge reads 185. but its awesome. Fill up that extra space and its bling yo.

I have a 93dx w/ B18b1. Stock Radiator. Never had any problems in the 100-degree heat that we get here in the summers.
