Default opinons please on exhaust swap.. thanks

i have in my hands a brand new never installed thermal 3" catback exhaust that i got from this kid that needed some work done to his car.. i told him i was going to try out the exhaust and see how it sounded and performed on my car.. i am NOT turboed but this exhaust is used alot for turbo cars cause of the 3" pipe.. will it be ok to run this exhaust on my hatch? i plan on turboing this winter or spring and i can get a hell of a good deal on this exhaust if i take it now.. i currently have an apexi n1 catback i want to get rid of cause its loud and too low for my setup now..

IMO the thermal is deeper than the n1. It also doesn't have that tin can sound to it.

okay!

..and if you are getting rid of your current exhaust b/c its loud, a 3" pipe might be just as loud. maybe some nice backfires??
You don't have to put it on, just cause you bought it either.
Just wait till you put in the turbo.

Ill trade you my Apexi Dunk for it! In all seriousness, I just got another turbo and need a new 3 inch exhaust. The Dunk is actually quiet until you throw it on with a header (and test pipe )

sorry no trades.. there was a dunk exhaust on the car when i bought it and traded the dunk for the N1 i have.. i did install the thermal exhaust last night and it does sound good, low and deep but i ahve an exhaust leak at the header or pipe extensions i had made when i swapped in the b18c1.. if i keep this thermal exhaust which i probably will cause its not as showy as the n1 ill sell the n1 to you.. i need an exhaust that looks more stock cause im driving on a restricted liscense and dont need to be pulled over for anything..
