Opinions on my possible suspension upgrades?
ok these first 2 options are more the cost-effective solution. i am looking for opinions on these more than anything else because the 3rd option im pretty sure is all-around excellent. anyway here goes:
option #1: Suspension Techniques Sport springs (1.3" drop) + KYB GR-2's
option #2: Tokico Illumina kit (see it here: http://www.nopionline.com/ecat...fid=0 ) - i am under the impression that this comes with a set of all 4 springs/shocks, but i guess i need to call and verify this....
option #3: Ground Control coilovers + KYB AGX's (this is a little more money than I want to spend but it's supposedly a really nice combination, right? if it's REALLY worth it for a daily driven car, then i'm definitely going to consider buying them)
Basically I'm just looking for my car (a 1996 Honda Civic EX) to have a nice ride, and handle pretty nice too. I'm not looking for a crazy slammed look or the stiffest **** around...just enough to make the car more fun to daily drive. right now i am running on OE shocks/springs and both the front shocks are blown to hell. Yes, I have searched the forums but I have only found limited information on these setups. If I missed something please inform me....
Opinions on this would be greatly appreciated,
-Drew

im kinda biased in my opininon, but i would pick the GC/KYB setup. simply because i love the way it feels and i got them for a real good price. and u cant go wrong with an adjustable height and shock setup

eibach pro-kit's are pieces of crap. they have the name brand stamped on it, but for cheaper, lil lower drop, and a better feel with the kyb agx's, go with H&R sports. they work together perfectly. and this is clearly under $600.

I agree, I my my H&R cup kit, which is basically H&R sports and Koni shocks for a little over $600. KYB AGX are a good choice for a budget minded strut.

cool! ive heard good things about H&R. did not know they went well w/ agx's
i think im gonna go with the H&R Sport springs + AGX's. I can get the AGX's in town but can anyone recommend a good place to buy the H&R's??
thanks again,
drew
