No better than running SiR (Si -U.S.) all the way. I do run an axle back of 00 Si (U.S.) on my 97 LX. The in/out pipe is a bit bigger from what I can see. I have a review on a post in this section if you want to do a search.

The muffler is the most restrictive part of the system. So the ultimate end result will mostly be govern by the Muffler. After all, it's still a "restrictive" stock exhaust. Just maybe a bit better over the original stock..

Word has it that the SiR midpipe will not bolt on as easily as the ITR midpipe which is why it's part of the equation.
