yeah, you basically just posted useless pictures.
We dont know your setup, axles, all i Know is you have a red civic with BFG drag radials.
But based on the information you gave us I'd say: The axle snapped because it was over-stressed beyond its limits.
Stupid question stupid answer

Retorical question obviously. If I have a car that can snap axles, I more than likely know WHY it snapped the axles. I can't post an experience? Or am I in the wrong forum.... Looks to me like it says "eg + civic" which is definitely what category i fall into. My car is a honda.... Whats the problem?

I agree. This is a more like a ,"wow i snapped an axle and want to show it off" more than an informative thread.

Exactly .. its not informative at all, wasnt meant to be informative, and never will be informative. Unless to say not to use stock GSR axles with BFG's @ 13psi, and launch @ 7k.

Good deal. I figured since this forum is under "model specific" and not "technical" .. that a non-tech artical could slide in under a secondary goal. Since of course the primary goal is to provide enlightening for those unenlightened.

Re: oooops .. i thought my honda had no torque (rcoolb2002)
ok well instead of argueing and trying to be right, how about you tell us what you were doing when the axel snapped as well as what kind of motor and axels you have........Dont you think that would be a good start instead of saying uhh yeah my axel snaped how did that happen..........obviously because your running with stock axels and midrange torque????? maybe??

wow, you need to learn how to work on cars better....
only the lower ball joint and the lower shock fork bolt need to be removed to take out the axle....you just about took your whole front end apart!~

Re: oooops .. i thought my honda had no torque (Evs-One)
yeah you don't pullout axles that way takes too much time.
your tires explain everything
you are lucky your diff didn't break yet
another though is that your axle boot was ripped for a long *** time. cv joint got seized up and broke your axle.
