Default Ok well, I am about to get a hatch...

I have a turbo'd Corolla now and I am about to sell it and get a hatch...I am not all that honda-literate, so I need some advice. What would be a good swap that I can do under 4k for just parts. Labor is not a biggie, I can get that done cheap.

I first thought about the LS with a GSR head but I heard that may not be good b/c the GSR head is high revv...But then I heard that it would be good power and lots of torque. Honda people clear this up for me please!

if u really want to do the LS go with a b16 head. but imo i would just get a complete GSR.

id just go with GSR swap, its most straight forward. or get a LS with a b16 tranny.

For 4k in just parts, you might be able to do an H22 swap. I know the parts alone for mine were around that price and I know the prices probably have come down some in the past year.

with 4k you can do a b16a swap or b18c swap which both are very good motors and very straight forward to put in..i have a jdm b16a in my 98 hatch and i did all the work on it with a friend.
