ok, tried that...help?
alright, i cleaned my IACV, and did a thorough job, but to no avail, still idling low and dying. its ONLY doing this when its warm, so would it be the iacv? do you think it just needs replaced instead of cleaning? this is really starting to get on my nerves. when you're driving in front of your work, and it dies, and all your employees say "hahaha, you can drive a stick!" it gets annoying...
any help?
p.s. its ok though, because all i say is "hahahaha, you dont have a honda!"

Do you have a check engine light on?
I wonder if your idle mixture screw has carbon build-up on it. That can cause a low idle. It's a pointed bullet-looking flat headed screw that screws into your throttle body and by turning it out it lets more air into the TB to bump the idle up. If it's got carbon on it it won't allow enough extra air in to bump the idle up.
You can remove it completely, scrub it with carb cleaner, and reinstall it and adjust the idle where it nees to be. Once the idle is set you can smack a small dab of Hondabond or RVT sealant/gasket maker behind it to keep it from moving. If you ever need to adjust the idle again simply scrape the RVt out and repeat the cleaning and setting.

wouldnt that be a not so good idea, because if that isnt the problem wouldn't it just be covering it up? i could most certainly give it a try though..?

Well that could be the problem itself, not just a cover up.

well thats just it...i could do that yeah, but its like it wants to stay close to 1000, then sometimes it drops low...so if i adjust the idle, it would be high, then drop to normal...
