Default Ok really bored today and did a burn out

Well when i did my burn out i noticed that I had 2 tire tracks like LSD but I have a 1996 Civic CX and pretty sure it doesn't have LSD. Anyone know why i have 2 equal length burn out marks? I also did it twice and same thing happend.

well ill try to make this tech related. Do you guys think OEM LSD's are good for the $$ (in a 200whp all motor setup) or should i look into something like a quaife?

I believe if both wheels had equal traction then you could leave 2 tire marks. Since both wheels rarely have the same traction people get LSDs. Try it again and see if it does it again. Try it in dirt.

If you really want to know if you have LSD then lift the car and spin one of the front tires, if the other one spins along with it, you have LSD, if it spins in the other direction, you dont.

imo it just means that you have equal amount of forec on bothe tires.

the second you lean one way or the other, onr tire is gonna go ballz crazy and the other will just grip

the only way to know you have lsd for sure is to pull both axles. if you can see right through the diff, you have lsd - if you can't, you don't. leaving 2 tire marks, and the wheels spinning different ways when one is turned manually, are signs of both limited slip differentials and open ones.

If you can NOT look thru it, then you do not have LSD.

I did it in my remote controlled fire engine

actually it doesn't have LSD
I always wondered why one wheel spun the other direction when I was a kid.

but yeah, i don't think they would 'accidently' put LSD in
