Default OK to drive car 3 hours without a tranny mount?

AIght Im tryin to get back down to the keys which is about a 3.5 hour drive. my car doesnt have a tranny mount because its an auto chassis, Im going to cut and weld my stock mount to work when i get home. It has the other 4 in place, the tranny is sagging MAYBE an inch. I wont be racing or anything, just highway driving. axle angle doesnt look TOO bad, like i said its sagging an inch. Think I should be ok?

id do it........but dont drive all crazy, be careful..........others will probably disagree but its your car plus if ur on the highway your motor wont torque that much

no way, thats is one of the 3 wieght bearing motor mounts, the two in front are just stabilizers.... very bad idea to drive or even let the motor sit like that.... Get some long bolts and some spacers, and attach the motor mount that way until you can reweld the proper mount later... But don't drive like that.

i trie but it made the bolt at too much of an angle to fit in the holes. my dad suggested using a strap used to hold down bikes and whatnot untill i get my mount fixed?

I think im just gonna get one of those tie down straps like i mentioned. just bring it up to be level and it should be fine. im just gonna be cruising anyways.

what are you going to do when you hit bumps? if it were a 30 minute ride i'd consider it, but ur distance would give me a heart attack on each small bump especially if you have stiffer suspension.

my friend drop his engine because of this and the motor sat on his axle. he had to get a new mount and new axle.
