I need help wondering if anyone els ever had this problem or can help me out i just replace my valve cover gasket and was hoping that would fix my leak problem and it did but now when i start it theres constant oil leaking out my vtec solenoid never seen this before thanks if you can help me.

the vtec solenoid has its own set of gaskets....replace them,and for best results get them from a dealer,not ebay

now that i look at it i dont really think its the gasket i never had one act like this but its leaking at the top of the solenoid not the back against the motor where the gasket would go

For some reason, the topmost Vtec gasket doesn't show up in the 96-2000 Honda parts catalog. It's # 36172-P08-015

I asked for *all* the Vtec gaskets, and they didn't give me that one. I had a very persistent oil leak until I tracked down and replaced this small gasket.
