oil on spark plugs..... whats wrong...
i pulled the plugs, i'm having a problem with the car, turns over, dies right down. I think its a combo of the ignitor, and a 550amp battery. Anyways....
I pulled the plugs and oil is on them, and the plugs.. i went to fire and sounded like 1 or 2 cly was'nt cranking, great sound. So i'm taking off the head now, what do i lok for, spark plug, head gasket, and obvious stuff

If your civic is a sohc, you have two different spark plug o-rings.
The ones you put in your valve cover
and
there is another set between the valve train assembly and the head.
I'd check those first, before removing the whole head.

Oil on which end or both ? If oil is on where the wire goes on top, time for new tube seals, get a new valve cover gasket. If on the end that goes into motor (electrode) time for new rings. How many miles on the motor ? Does it smoke ?
