Default oil on my tranny

hey guys i have noticed after looking at my engine bay today that i have oil on my tranny, and it seems to be leaking from the head gasket, just curious if i should be concerned about that or not.

car: 1999 civic si
Mod:full exhaust, intake

A little leak isn't going to hurt anything but it could be a sign of a bigger problem, for example if you're losing seal between the head and block. Clean it up and then keep an eye on it to figure out the rate of the leak. Also watch the exhaust for smoke.

Did you check you dizzy? Your o ring could be shot...

Basically make sure the oil isn't coming from higher than where the head/block meet. If it is it could be the O ring like he said above or the distributor or vtec solenoid

If its just where the head gasket is might want to look at that. Open the radiator when the car is cool to see if you see oil floating on top of the coolant level inside if you can see the top level.

well it never smells like oil even when i beat the **** outta it, no black smoke comes out.

its only right where block and head meet. and i cleaned it today and imma keep a watch on it.

i dont think im losing compression because im even with a fella that has same car as me.

Arright, just watch the area again and see if more oil comes from there. If so, head gasket probably. Hopefully not worse like a warped head/block.
