Sounds like you're dumping a lot of fuel, which will only wash the oil off of the rings and exacerbate the problem. Do you have a stuck injector or are they really oversized or something? Even if your compression is low or you have leakage you shouldn't have enough unburnt fuel to foul your oil like that.

1000cc? I don't have much of a knowledge base when it comes to e85, but that seems HUGE. I'm willing to bet thats your problem, an injector that big is gonna have a hard time not pissing all over at idle.

Doesn't mean the problem wasn't there. It just hadn't reared its head yet. You said that the motor only has 5k on it.

You said you had it tuned. How much power are you making/trying to make?

E85 is supposed to run at around 10:1 iirc, right?
So if gas shoots for 14.7:1 that means that the e85 injectors need to be about 1.47x the flow of the gas injectors.

So that means in gas you would be running about a 680cc injector... Assuming b.s.f.c. of .5 for natural aspiration, thats enough to support over 400hp. Your injectors are rediculously oversized.

I would also question your tuner's qualification if he thought that that was okay too.

I put down 271whp on the dyno im good with what i got for now i just wanna get it running right and ya the motor is around 5k do you think it could be a problem with the injectors?

Yeah you need to be running about a 650 cc injector.

Those things are shitting all over your rings at idle/cruise. The problem is that even when they are running at a really low duty cycle that they flow so much that they can't not dump a bunch of fuel every time that they open. Get that taken care of before you ruin your motor.

Thinner? As in viscosity? I have no idea, but it is solvent to oil just as gasoline is. The reason you run larger injectors is because it contains less energy per unit mass than gas does, so you need to run it at a lower air-fuel ratio to make the same power.

Probably the same issue. Fuel is getting down into the oil pan.

270 all motor? lol.. even running alcohol which is richer burning by nature.. 1000cc injectors are BEYOND overkill.

the problem is they just can't be timed down low enough to run properly on that app at idle. they will either run for such a short time that it literally won't run the car.. like throwing a drop of fuel in a gallon jug.. doesn't mix well.

or you time them up so they spray long enough to mix with the incoming air so it'll burn.. but it is WAY overly rich.

did you just get a good deal on them or something? and if your tuner didn't mention this or recommend switching it up... you need a new tuner.

but if your oil is milky in any way.. that isn't gas. gas mixes with oil and you can only smell it's presence, and in extreme cases, notice the oil is thin. any milkiness is caused by water.

EDIT: btw, pic don't worky

Lol that was like a cliff's notes of all of my replies

Good luck with your setup man. I'm curious about these e85 all motor setups, so keep us posted here. Too bad there is only one place to get it near me, and its at a turnpike service plaza.

Ya my tuner did not mention anything about the injectors being to big and ya i got a good deal on them i guess you could say lol but the oil never smelled that bad of gas, its terrible and are you thinking head gasket then??? as well as my injectors being a overkill the car starts an runs and does not smoke at all??

Wouldn't hurt to do do a leakdown test again. Pull the rad cap off and see if you're leaking any air through the coolant. Then do a cooling system pressure test too.

And find a new tuner. That's not a job for people who don't mind their details.

and i guess i would describe the oil as not necessary "milky" but really thin and just has a whiteish yellow tint. and kinda sticky its really weird like i can pull the dip stick out and it will run right off but if you touch it it is kinda sticky but not much
