I think all three are fine, if you mean the Purolator One filter and the Fram Tough Guard filter.

Without a doubt the Honda filter. I've seen where people have taken them apart and the blue one has more filter material in it.

If those are my only choices I would only go with the Purolater.

The Napa WIX filter gets a lot of thumbs up from what I've read.

I personally don't think it matters as long as you change them often.

For me, this link made a pretty good argument for using the inexpensive Walmart SuperTech oil filter ---> good bang for the buck.

Years ago, when I first started driving and doing my own maintenance I used Fram. It was cheap and easy to get at most places. About 15 years ago I read some of the reviews similar to the one quoted by Ron, and that did it for me. I have never used anything made by Fram again nor will I. I currently use Wix on all of the vehicles I have at my house and have been using them for 10 years or so. Occasionally there will be a Mobil or Purolater Gold filter thrown in there if I catch them on sale with oil at Autozone or Advance.

If you read all these they contradict each other. What is the best filter with out spending 20$? What gives best starts and filtration ect. I do oil changes every 3k religiously so it won't be over 3k.

Guess who makes the blue Honda Genuine? Honeywell. Who also makes Fram. Same stuff, just overpriced at the dealer for the same filter.

The A02 filter is a bit different than the A01. The A02 being much more similar to the Fram, the A02 tested much better.

But it seems to me Wix and Supertech from walmart are good cheap brang for the buck options.

oem honda filter, imo. The seal is a P ring instead of an O ring, so it won't stick on when you take the filter off. They also have a anti drain back system to keep the **** they filtered from getting out.

Anybody use the K&N filters? I got one for an S2000 I was going to try on my next oil change.

I think one of the the reviews said the K&N was a waste. Said it was very similar to the Fram filter.

Funny, I literally just got back from the dealer and grabbed a honda filter for $7. I glanced at a sign they had that said "Why use a Honda oil filter." Unfortunately, I did not read further lol.

I use Mobil1 filters in the d15b7 and Mann brand filters in my Volswagen TDI engine.

[The Mann filters are sick. The engine has the filter housing built in on the top side so just the element is changed. The element alone is about twice as big as the entire filter for the Honda.]

I've only ever heard good things about WIX and Mobil1 filters.

I use Honda filters, which are made by Honeywell, which make most of the oil filters out there I'm pretty sure.

I use Hamp. The Honda USA filters are made by Fram now from what I have read...

I like the Fram filters because of the grip
