Default Oil filter leak, please help!!!

I just installed my stealthmode firewall oil line kit and feed line. Everything is installed correctly and tightened. I have a major oil leak from the filter area...it is not the feed line fitting that is completely dry....thought maybe it was the filter put a new one on and same thing. Cleaned the filter o-ring surface and triple checked everything.....your help is appreciated!!!

Nothing to really take pics of....everything looks normal....Oil just gushes out around the filter when I start it

well if oil gushes out from around the filter than there is no seal between the block and the filter. unless I dont really understand what youre asking. do you actually have a filter relocation kit or what? everything I can find about "stealthmode firewall kit" looks like its to tee into your oil pressure sensor.

The only gasket would be the o-ring on the oil filter and yes it is present

maybe you accidently left your old oil filter seal there when u took off the old oil filter.. and you double gasketing? which it would make leaks or oil to burst out of there..

maybe the seal of the old filter stayed on the block and you just added an extra seal with your new filter.

Before you put the new one on...did you take a little old oil on your finger and smear it around the new filters gasket and such...I had to do that with my old Jag because when I didn't it spewed all over the floor.

I dont think its the filter now, I put a new one on and redid the turbo feed line fitting in the block with teflon tape and new filter. Started the car and lost a quart of oil instantly and shut it off. I am so lost as to what the hell happened everything has been fine for over a year now. Any more suggestions

im going to say its not the filter but the Oil Pressure Switch. its located right above the filter and it has a cone shaped boot over it with wires coming out of it.

it will leak down onto the top of your filter, run around it to the bottom and drip off. looks exactly like your filter is leaking.

I figured it out, cracked oil sending port on the block...The port is like 2 inches deep but only threaded about 1/2" to 3/4" in. I tapped the threads in about an 1.5" and put 2 allen head plugs wrapped with teflon tape. I ordered a golden eagle sandwich for my turbo feed now. Very shitty thing to happen. Thanks for everyones input I appreciate it.
